Church of the Spilled Blood in Russia
The Church of the Spilled Blood in Russia was where Peter the Great was murdered and they built the memorial in honor of him. Traveling in Russia was a little scary especially with the conflict going on in Georgia. St. Petersburg restores its castles and churches while the everyday people live in shambles. The people do not greet you or smile. It didn't look like things were going that great for them. Our guide was studying to be a lawyer and would only make $1,000 a month. He told me it was one of the top paying jobs in the country. We ate lunch on one of our tours in St. Petersburg and they had soup that tasted like swamp water, cavier, and some wierd desert that didn't have any sugar. Oh, and they serve vodka instead of water.

Fun to see all the pictures. Is that really the name of the church? Greg sure was funny, I miss his story about tying Brad to the couch. Have a Great Day!
